Fr Enrique Montoya, O.F.M., Conv., was born in Mexico, third of seven children, and was in Seminary in Mexico and Italy, being ordained in 2006. His pastoral assignments included several in Mexico, followed by the Diocese of Austin, and now the Diocese of Lexington. St Elizabeth parish welcomed Fr Montoya in February of 2023. He not only is the parochial administer of St Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Ravenna, but ministers to the Hispanic community in other diocesan parishes with Masses and sacraments in Spanish. He is very grateful to God for his vocation, and the blessing to administer the holy sacraments to the people in Estill County and elsewhere.
